I have reached a point in my career where I am comfortable with any hair type and can approach it with confidence.
I particularly love doing short haircuts, as you can see if you visit my Instagram profile, which is devoted to the documentation of those I have done.
Short haircuts display their architecture more graphically, and I can interact with the facial features and bone structure of my clients to really do something impactful.
Bobs and pixies obsession aside, I can cut and thoroughly enjoy cutting all shapes, lengths and textures, and you can sit in my chair with confidence.
Credentials:
I have been licensed since 2005. I completed my apprenticeship with master Antonio Santiago at Salon Santiago in Ft. Lauderdale, where I worked for four years. I moved to Seattle and worked at the Seattle institution VAIN, for 9 years before opening HUM. I have received continuing education from the best hairstylists in the world, training with educators from Toni&Guy, Bumble and bumble, Vidal Sassoon, ZGAT and many others, receiving numerous certifications. A self professed hair nerd, I am constantly seeking out new learning experiences to further my knowledge in the realm of haircutting. If I take time off from the salon, I’m most likely taking a class or teaching one.
