I love cutting hair. It’s what I got into this business to do, and I want to be the best I can be at it. I am constantly learning and refining my skills, following the latest trends so I can deliver for my clients every time they sit in my chair.
Hair is probably the most interesting, most versatile and deeply personal medium an artist can work with.
It’s endlessly fascinating.
I have reached a point in my career where I am comfortable with any hair type and can approach it with confidence.
Credentials:
I have been licensed since 2005. I completed my apprenticeship with master Antonio Santiago at Salon Santiago in Ft. Lauderdale, where I worked for four years. I moved to Seattle and worked at the Seattle institution VAIN, for 9 years before opening HUM in 2018. I have received continuing education from the best hairstylists in the world, training with educators from Toni&Guy, Bumble and bumble, Vidal Sassoon, ZGAT and many others, receiving numerous certifications. A self professed hair nerd, I am constantly seeking out new learning experiences to further my knowledge in the realm of haircutting. If I take time off from the salon, I’m most likely taking a class or teaching one.
